FIXING HOLES IN HAGGERSTON.

Ahead of our darning event at the Barbican tonight, we were so chuffed to discover this beautiful piece of graffiti on a condemned council estate on the Haggerston Rd in Hackney.
A lady with a purl necklace is darning, with moths flying all around her.
Notice the moths darting off into the dark corner behind the drain pipe!
And amongst all the patched up windows on the estate, the darning lady is fixing all the holes that will soon appear, as peoples homes, with all their memories, will become a big pile of rubble. If anyone knows who painted this could they tell us, or notify the artist we would like to offer him/ her a free darn.
