STREET TEXTILES!

London Fields in Hackney is a great park for many reasons...On my morning run i saw this strung from the trees...street weaving!

On my way home from ukulele lesson i spot this lovely bit of street darning! someone has made sure that rips on the 149 to Dalston bus seat are mended and won't spread any further.....that really is a stitch in time......

Someone taking their time to mend the 149, hurrah! Hope you're all doing good, sorry I haven't been by since last time but I promise to drop in soon! I'll make sure I bring the dissertation for you to have a flick through too (when I submitted it I include a nice ball of mohair and some 'oddpins' for their knitting pleasure, I am now worried about loosing marks incase the tutor forgets to look before putting their hand inside the envelope..!) Hello!
Do you know who warped up the trees in London fields? I found a pair of trees done the same way in Clissold Park in October. There is still a bit of red yarn attached now. I've got a photo of them covered in snow on my website! Sara x
