Susan Crawford, co author of Stitch In Time, and editor of Knitting- on- the- Net, made our day yesterday, by showing us her Pifco Electric Darner. I have a battery powered glowing darner designed for fixing holes in blackouts, which I love, but I had never seen a contraption as wonderful as this. It plugs into a normal bayonet lamp base.
